Can you believe that One Week You're Watering Flowers, The Next Week You're Wearing a Raincoat
If you've lived in Montana very long, you know our weather likes to keep us guessing.
Just last week many of us were watering flowers, watching fire conditions, and trying to keep newly planted gardens alive. Then came several days of soaking rain across much of Montana.
The moisture has been welcome in many areas, helping lawns, gardens, rivers, and reducing fire concerns. Of course, it has also brought muddy shoes, wet dogs, and weeds that seem to grow overnight.
That's part of what makes Montana summers memorable. We can experience several seasons in a matter of days, and somehow we learn to keep both sunscreen and an umbrella close by.
This week's Montana Summer Truth:
Never get too attached to the forecast.
One week you're watering flowers. The next week you're wearing a raincoat.
What weather surprise has Montana thrown your way this summer?
